This original painting is a small piece, 6" x 6", painted with watercolors on Aquabord, a clay substrate designed to accept waterborne media. As such, it does not behave like typical watercolor papers, allowing for more intense colors.

Hello, and thank you for visiting! I really appreciate that you took the time to not only view my artwork, but also wanted to learn more about me, the artist - wow! I began painting in 2015, and my very first subject was my dog, Smudge. Which seems appropriate, since he is a dachshund and many of the great artists such as Picaso and Andy Warhol have owned and painted the dachshunds they adored!
