I came upon this fellow quite unexpectedly while walking along the pond's edge at the North Chagrin Reserve in Willoughby, Ohio. To make matters worse, I was actually on my phone and did not have my camera at the ready! But this blue heron was patient, and waited for me to hurriedly end my conversation and get my camera set up. What a nice bird!
Hello, and thank you for visiting! I really appreciate that you took the time to not only view my artwork, but also wanted to learn more about me, the artist - wow! I began painting in 2015, and my very first subject was my dog, Smudge. Which seems appropriate, since he is a dachshund and many of the great artists such as Picaso and Andy Warhol have owned and painted the dachshunds they adored!
