Sonja, We just got this one in the mail today. We love all seven of the images you painted for us! The basset hound, shown here, was Roofus. (Not Rufus. He was named for the old joke where a dog answers questions Roof, Rough, and Ruth, and the punchline is "Perhaps I should have said said DiMaggio.") Roofus once won a prize at a Basset Hound picnic for being the only dog there who could speak his name. I will also point out, that Piper, who you wrote was a beagle, is actually a coonhound! We got her as a rescue and they said she was a coonhound mix. So we don't know for sure, but we think she is as a Treeing Walker Coonhound, and if you search that, you'll find some very large imitation beagles. Thank you so much for our paintings! -David

David - Hope you got your original Roofus before you saw him here; didn't mean to spoil the surprise. Was such fun painting him and all the others; you've had quite a collection. I'll be sure to update Piper so he gets proper credit as a coonhound! I'm so very glad you enjoyed all the paintings.
