Artist's Description

I had a pair of blue jays nesting in the underhang of my home, and I desperately wanted some photographs of them. The male was constantly in the Japanese maple tree just outside my window, but I could never get a good shot of him with my handheld SLR. So my husband bought me a "Bird Cam", one of those motion triggered wildlife cameras that you just mount and wait. I am open to painting just about any subject matter, however animals and wildlife have been my primary focus so far. Branching out from my love of nature and a need for...
