Description
A juvenile Red Shouldered Hawk sits patiently in a tree waiting for the photographer to leave! This young hawk had just killed a squirrel, when I happened upon it. As I approached closer, it flew up to the safety of a tree branch; but with it's meal still sitting on the ground, it was loathe to fly away soon. A perfect photo opportunity for me! A cold meal for him.
