The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. A portrait of my son with his new kitten - a British shorthair cat named Boa (pronounced Bo). Before buying him, my son did not realize what an adult British shorthair would look like, so he was quite surprised to see how sturdy and plump Boa would get!

Hello, and thank you for visiting! I really appreciate that you took the time to not only view my artwork, but also wanted to learn more about me, the artist - wow! I began painting in 2015, and my very first subject was my dog, Smudge. Which seems appropriate, since he is a dachshund and many of the great artists such as Picaso and Andy Warhol have owned and painted the dachshunds they adored!
